Offline blog editors

I've really needed an offline editor for a while now you can tell by the rate of posts. So I've been looking around and to be honest theres a lot thats already been said about this.

Now I could go off and write my own but that would take my focus off my other projects (Must finish them!). Maybe one day I will, but for the mean time I'm going to use BlogDesk(http://www.blogdesk.org/). I've also loked at BlogJet(www.blogjet.com) but I think the features are better in BlogDesk. As always time will tell.

That leaves only two questions.

  1. How do you interface into a blog engine? Where is the interface published? [Must check blogger]
  2. What would people value most? Function or Form. Do other people want a pretty WYSIWYG editor? Or would they prefer functionality?
