DPI: Live Writer

While WLW (Windows Live writer) is a great blogging tool it doesn’t respect DPI while it is in Edit using theme mode or preview modes, yet it does in normal edit mode. This regrettably leads to some very small fonts.

Now you could argue that this is exactly the same as IE would render it, except that IE does detect the DPI and starts up in a size to match, see bottom right.

Stunningly though, every other aspect of its UI correctly handles a larger UI, with the possible exception of the Find Text… dialog. Should those buttons should actually be below the dividing line at the bottom.
